Sign languages often resort to classifier constructions, such as the one we observe in the following example.

    "A man was walking along the street; he saw a bicycle leaning on a tree, no padlock visible. The man stopped, he looked around him, got on the bicycle and started to pedal, but he could hardly move. Another man came close, saw the first and started shouting that the bicycle was his. The first man got off the bicycle and started running because the second man was running after him."
