Another mechanism involves the use of signs incorporating negation, such as, for example, "not yet", "never", "nothing/nobody/not at all", "without", "not to be able", "not to have/be", "not to know", "impossible", "not necessary/not needed", "nor/neither", "forbidden", etc. These signs are typically placed after the element they negate and tend to appear at the end of the sentence.

    "Have you never been on a plane? No, nor on a boat, I'm very scared."
    "In order to travel around Europe you don't need a passport, the identity card is enough."
    "I've not yet finished the job you asked me to do."
    "My friend spent all night studying and not sleeping at all."
