Research lines:

BDNF-regulated genes involved in neurogenesis, growth, migration, differentiation and synaptogenesis in the genes. Functions of these genes during normal development and possible implications in neurodevelopmental human disorders (autistic spectrum disorders, early epileptic encephalopathies, acquired perinatal damage (hypoxia / ischemia, IUGR)). Regulation of the neurovascular niche in the CNS. Development of biomaterials with the capacity to promote CNS regeneration.
