Partial interrogative sentences seek specific answers about one of the partial components of the sentence eliciting new information, such as the person carrying out the action, the place or type of action, etc. Non-manual components associated to such partial interrogative sentences are furrowed eyebrows, forward head and shoulder movement, chin protruding forward. See the following examples.

    "What colour is it?"
    "What does it look like?"
